Responsibilities:

Teaching and Learning

• Design, deliver, and assess undergraduate modules in psychology.
• Contribute to curriculum development and innovation across the programme.
• Supervise undergraduate research projects.
• Incorporate contemporary pedagogical approaches, including digital and experiential learning.
• Ensure teaching reflects current developments in psychological science and professional practice.

Research and Scholarship

• Develop and sustain a programme of high-quality research in psychology.
• Pursue external funding opportunities (individual or collaborative grants).
• Publish in leading peer-reviewed journals and disseminate research at national and international conferences.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary and applied research aligned with departmental priorities.
• Contribute to outreach, engagement, and knowledge exchange activities.

The Department of Psychology at AUCY is seeking passionate and dynamic psychologists to contribute to teaching, research, and service across the discipline of psychology, in any of the following areas: Social Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Biological Psychology, Research Methods (Quantitative, Qualitative or both), Clinical Psychology, and Cyberpsychology.
